Great job everyone who attended our meet on Sunday! Thank you for participating and volunteering. We couldn't have done it without you. Also, big shout out to Holly for making sure the meet ran smoothly. If you missed out on our home meet or are looking for your next race, there are a few meets that are pretty close by.

This Sunday we have practice at WSU from 10:00-11:30am due to the Raiders hosting a meet.

10/04/2026 - DAS Meet and Clinic
Our meet is one week away! Online entries are due Thursday, October 8th at 11:59pm. We will accept deck entries, but it will cost more. If you cannot or do not wish to compete, but would still like to hangout with the team, then you can volunteer. Food will be provided for volunteers! Signup to swim here or volunteer here.
Also, we are hosting a stroke analysis clinic on 10/17 at WSU. We are limiting the clinic to the first 8 people who sign up. The cost for the clinic will be $20. There will not be practice on Sunday the 18th at DRAC due to the Raiders hosting a home meet that weekend. Here is a link to sign up for the clinic

09/22/2026 - The Reboot of the Dayton Area Sharks Pentathlon
We are rebooting our meet! On Sunday, October 11th come join us for the Reboot of the Dayton Area Pentathlon!
For those who don't know the pentathlon consists of the 50s of each stroke and the 100 IM. If you want a bigger challenge, there are the 100s of each stroke and the 200 IM. If you want the insane challenge, you can do 200s of each stroke and the 400 IM. You are not required to do any of the pentathlons, but we will have special gifts for all who complete a pentathlon and special prizes for the fastest combined time in each pentathlon for each age group.

If you don't want to swim in the meet, but still want to hangout with the team, we do need some people to volunteer to be timers. If you have some kids that want community service hours, then this is a job for them! I greatly appreciate any help that we can get.

Good news! We have the option again this year to pay DRAC online with an automatic monthly payment.
Click on Open Swim & Masters and click on Next
Click on Add Participant and fill out the participant's name
Click on the cart to checkout
Follow the directions and pay

USMS recently released their 2026 Top 10 for SCY. We had 20 individual Top 10 times and 8 Top 10 Relays.

Dan in the 500 free, 1650 free, 200 fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM
Cody in the 500 free, 200 breast, 100 fly, and THE TOP TIME in the 200 fly
Franklin in the 200 free, 1000 free, 1650 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, 200 IM, and a very impressive 2nd in the nation 400 IM Relays
Mixed 800 Free 45+: Cody, Jeanne, Mary, and TJ
Men 800 Free 25+: Jeff, Brad, Scott, and Dan
Men 400 Medley 35+: Dan, Brad, Cody, and TJ
Men 400 Free 45+: Franklin, Craig, TJ, and Cody
